Where
else are Thermal Scanners Used?
Thermal imaging technology before COVID-19 and now is extensively
used by law enforcement agencies and militaries across the world. It was initially
used during the Korean War in 1950-53 to identify opponent soldiers in the
dark. Firefighters in the United States are famous to use them to identify people
through dense smoke. In the year 2019, police in Minneapolis used them to identify
and nab a gang of car robs in the dark. Organizations in the manufacturing and
automotive industries also use thermal cameras to verify machines and equipment
that might be at risk of catching fire.
