 How is vaccine being administered across the globe?

COVID-19 pandemic is in its final phases as countries around the globe have started administering vaccines. Here is how humankind is fighting the virus with vaccines.

United States:

Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are being administered in the US. California state received the maximum vaccines. But according to various media houses the pace of vaccine administration has been really slow in the US due to rigid rules and different policies in different states. In New York hundreds of doses were wasted, because syringes were unable to extract the sixth or last dose from the Pfizer vial. 

Israel: 

Israel is also using Pfizer and Moderna vaccines and has put across a smart strategy for vaccine administration. Vaccine centers in the country are open  24/7. It is mandatory by law for the Israelis over 18 years of age to register themselves under government -funded health cover plans. Covid testing is also free. 

UK: 

The UK was slow in the beginning but has gained pace in the recent days. The country is administering Pfizer and Astrazeneca. The country is maintaining a gap of 12 weeks between first and second dose. The UK is also facing the brunt of the new mutation of COVID-19, but it is doing its best to administer the vaccine. 

India: 

India is going to start Phase-1 of vaccine administration on January 17. It’s vaccine ‘Covaxin’ has been delivered to different healthcare centers across the country.
