Antimicrobial fabric to fight against Coronavirus
The world is currently facing one of the biggest challenges of modern times. The use of PPE Kits has increased enormously after the outbreak as it is one of the major ways to protect us from transmission of virus. But the issue is these plastic PPE Kits are not antiviral and they are adding to the already prevalent plastic pollution.
We at AIST TRADE have a solution to this PPE problem. We are using nano-technology to produce a fabric which is antimicrobial and can be stitched into medical gowns, clothing and housing textiles like curtain and bed sheets.
Our fabric has been tested in the American Laboratory and has been proven effective against Human Coronavirus 229E.
How does our fabric work?
Step 1: The Nanoparticles spreads like a layer over the fabric
Step 2: The fabric is now like a biosensor and gets activated when virus comes in proximity
Step 3: Once the virus touches the fabric the nanoparticles in it destroy the shape of virus, curbing virus duplication on the fabric
Using our technology we can convert Cotton, Poly-cotton, Poly-viscose, Rayon, Poplin or any fabric in all GSM Qualities
Features of the fabric
Retains antiviral properties up to 50 washes
